Tom joined Michelmores in 2007, and qualified in 2009. He specialises in employment law and divides his time between the Firm's Exeter and London offices.
Tom is experienced in a range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, and has particular expertise in acting for local authorities and schools.
He has represented clients in both the Employment Tribunal and County Court and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

- Defending a FTSE 100 company against claims brought against it of unfair dismissal, victimisation and race discrimination.
- Advising on a highly complex and contentious whistleblowing claim that a client had brought against BP plc. The claim was listed for a month-long hearing, and the case represented a significant development in the laws governing whistleblowing.
- Advising an international restructuring and insolvency firm with the reorganisation of their five UK offices.
