Overview

I am a Legal Director at Michelmores, specialising in high-value rural and residential property matters, with a particular focus on agricultural land, estates and strategic land projects. Working across our Cambridge and London offices, I advise private landowners, trustees, family offices and high-net-worth individuals on the acquisition, disposal and structuring of land and property assets.

My practice spans the full spectrum of residential, rural and estate work, from the sale, purchase and management of residential properties, farms and estates to the preparation and negotiation of agreements for landowners approached in connection with residential or commercial development and renewable energy schemes.

A significant part of my work involves transactions relating to nature recovery and the use of land to generate biodiversity and carbon credits, combining technical property expertise with a strong commercial perspective in this rapidly developing market.

I also have substantial experience acting for charities and trustees, advising on governance and compliance in land transactions, including disposals under the Charities Act.  I am particularly focused on helping clients balance legal risk, fiduciary duties and commercial outcomes.

Clients value my clear, pragmatic advice, attention to detail and ability to navigate both traditional estate matters and emerging trends in sustainable land use.
