Solicitor – Admitted 2021
Overview
I specialise in a wide range of contentious and non-contentious Planning and Environment law and I have acted for housebuilders, landowners, land promoters and agriculture sector clients.
I have experience advising on matters relating to residential mixed use and commercial development schemes, in the drafting and negotiation of section 106 agreements, highways and utilities agreements, and planning due diligence in property transactions. I have also supported clients on proposed applications including Certificate of Lawfulness applications, permitted development rights, application of planning conditions, interpretation of policy, and drafting objections to planning applications.
In addition, my practise covers High Court challenges, planning appeals, and the resolution of planning enforcement matters. I also have experience defending criminal prosecutions (including Proceeds of Crime Act hearings) brought by the Environment Agency, and local planning authorities in a Planning Enforcement context.
Alongside my current and previous roles, I have been a regular speaker at Society of Agriculture national rural planning seminars and Women in Property events. I was a South West branch committee member of the latter from 2024-2026, and I spent two years as the Chair of Charity on the Bristol Junior Chamber Council of Management. I am currently a trustee of the Bristol based Charity of Alderman Steevens, which was founded in 1679 and provides affordable accommodation to the residents of Bristol.
