Overview

I am an Associate in Michelmores’ Commercial and Regulatory Disputes team, having trained with the firm and qualified in November 2022.

My practice covers a broad spectrum of commercial disputes, including matters related to banking and fraud, defamation, regulatory issues, breach of contract, corporate conflicts, and trust-related cases.

We work with a diverse range of individuals and businesses across various sectors, both within the UK and internationally.

Recent experience

Acting for an international client in its defence of £200m Commercial Court proceedings brought by a Ugandan bank and its former shareholders, for alleged unlawful means conspiracy concerning the sale of its assets

Assisting with a large education academy trust dispute dealing with issues such as breach of trust, breach of trustee duties and breach of fiduciary duties

Acting on various defamation matters, in particular assisting with the removal of defamatory material published in newspapers, on social media and online

Assisting with multiple regulatory and criminal matters, including advising on enforcement investigations into trusts, and cases involving environmental crimes, POCA proceedings and fraud

Successfully acting on several cases securing injunctions for enforcement of restrictive covenants in employment contracts

Supporting on a complex, international contentious probate dispute (value in excess of £100 million) spanning the jurisdictions of England and Wales, Russia, Belgium
