Overview
I am an Associate in Michelmores’ Tax, Trusts & Succession team and completed my training contract at the Firm. I thoroughly enjoyed my training journey with Michelmores and have been lucky enough to experience all three of Michelmores’ departments (Private Client, Business and Real Estate) and have learnt a lot from each of them.
I work with the team supporting clients with a variety of Private Client work, both domestically and internationally, which involves estate and tax planning, will drafting, trust advice and management, Powers of Attorney, and estate administration.
I studied my undergraduate degree in English and American Studies (BA) at the University of Leicester with a year abroad at California State University, before embarking on a career in Luxury Travel specialising in Central and South America. Following this, I completed my GDL and LPC with the University of Law in Guildford (LLM), before working as a paralegal doing regulatory work.
In my free time I enjoy being in or near the sea – whether that’s surfing, scuba diving, or reading on the beach! I also love eating out and traveling (who doesn’t?!).
Recent experience
Preparing a wide variety of Wills for clients with both domestic and international assets and incorporating various structures including trusts, to achieve client objectives
Advising on Tax planning to maximise the use of allowances and relief for both lifetime gifting and inheritance matters
Managing trusts including preparing deeds of appointment, retirement and trustee resolutions
Preparing both financial and health & welfare Lasting Powers of Attorney
