Overview
I am a Partner in the Corporate team at Michelmores, advising on a range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, MBOs and private equity/venture capital investments, both in the UK and cross-border.
I lead our Corporate team and sit on the Firm’s Board and Management Group, dealing with both operational matters and the strategic direction of the firm.
I joined Michelmores as a trainee in 2006 and became a partner in 2016. In that time, many things about the firm have changed as we have evolved and grown, but our approach to the most important things – the quality of our advice, our culture, our ambition – has remained the same.
As co-head of our International Committee, I am responsible for Michelmores’ international strategy and for maintaining the network of firms that we have across the globe. I am also an officer of the International Bar Association (IBA).
Recent experience
Advising Succession Wealth on its acquisition by Aviva for £385m and on around 35 acquisitions of wealth management businesses.
Acting for the shareholders on their sale of Red Paddle Co, the world’s leading premium paddleboard brand, to the Myers Family Office.
Advising automotive tech business DeGould on investments from Van Tuyl Companies and Wallenius Wilhelmsen
Acting for the management team of Credit Reporting Agency on their management buy out of the UK and international online credit reporting and comparison service.
Advising the Ocean Fish Group on its acquisition of W. Stevenson and Sons
