Michelmores announces new Partner, Senior Associate and Director promotions

Michelmores LLP has announced the appointment of eight new Partners, five new Senior Associates and one new Director based at its Exeter and London offices.

The new Partners include Alex Watson (Corporate), Tom Torkar (TMC/IP), Henry Taylor (Corporate) and Jonathan Kitchin (Commercial Litigation) from the Firm’s Business department. Jennifer Ridgway (Tax, Trusts and Succession), Sara Chisholm-Batten (Commercial Litigation) and Louise Tribble (Residential Property) from the Private Client department and Danica Cooper from the Real Estate department were also made Partner – bringing the Firm’s partnership to 68.

The latest round of promotions has boosted the number of Senior Associates at Michelmores to 26, to include Jayne Clemens (Dispute Resolution), Lucy Tucker (Real Estate), Max Nicholls (Tax, Trusts and Succession).

64% of all promotions went to women this year, increasing the number of females in senior roles at Michelmores. Gender equality is one of the key areas of focus for the Firm’s Diversity and Inclusivity Group, which is also committed to improving social mobility and unconscious bias.
