The Michelmores Corporate team has advised Succession Wealth on its recent acquisition of a leading independent financial advice business, G+E Wealth Management. The deal brings Succession Wealth’s assets under administration to over £10 billion. This is the first acquisition for Succession Wealth since its sale to Aviva earlier this year and, with offices in York and Leeds, the G+E acquisition represents an important expansion by the firm in the north of England.
The Michelmores Corporate team was led by Partner, Henry Taylor with Senior Associate, Francesca Hubbard and Solicitor, Hollie Suddards. Partner, Andrew Tobey and Associate, Omar Mahboob provided Employment advice.
Of the deal, Henry Taylor said “It was a pleasure to work with Succession on this deal. Michelmores has advised the team at Succession on its acquisition trail since 2016. This next step for the company, following its acquisition by Aviva, is testament to the leadership team’s continued focus on exciting strategic acquisitions that offer real synergy.”
