Overview

I am a Senior Associate in Michelmores’ Transactional Real Estate team and am based in the Bristol office.

I advise a wide range of commercial and public sector clients on their commercial property needs including asset and portfolio management; freehold and leasehold sales and acquisitions; granting and taking leases; and some commercial development. A key focus of mine is telecommunications from a property perspective. I now solely act for landowners/site providers providing advice on the ever-changing legislation and case law surrounding this field as well as dealing with negotiations for Code Agreements and telecommunications wayleaves. I have previously acted for operators and so am able to provide additional insight from that angle to assist my clients.

I cross-qualified as a solicitor in 2020 having previously trained and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2019 at another national law firm. I joined Michelmores in July 2021 and have not looked back – the Firm has a great culture, good work and a progressive mindset.

Advising on granting telecoms agreements for landowners and managing portfolios of telecoms acquisitions and renewals

Advising on the establishment of woodland creation leases for one of the UK’s biggest forest owners

Assisting a commercial landowner on the disposal of a large business park on the South coast subject to existing tenancies

Assisting a commercial landowner with managing tenancies during a redevelopment of premises including granting short term leases

Undertaking a secondment with a multinational health food company advising predominantly on renewals of leases for their existing premises and assisting with the implementation of new users across the portfolio
