I am an Associate in Michelmores’ Agricultural team. I have been part of the team since joining Michelmores nearly two years ago.
I advise on all aspects of contentious work in the agricultural sector. I have experience in dealing with a variety of land-based disputes, including landlord and tenant disputes (both under the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 and the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995), farming partnership disputes, rights of way disputes, contentious succession applications, and proprietary estoppel claims. I have worked on public law disputes and have dealt with claims for judicial review at the Administrative Court in London. I have also dealt with arbitrations under the Arbitration Act 1995.
I have experience in dealing with non-contentious matters within the agricultural sector. This work has included providing advice on the provisions of the Environment Act 2021 and the new biodiversity net gain requirements. I have also provided advice on a variety of tenancy related issues both for tenants and landlords.
Prior to joining Michelmores in 2021, I trained and worked at a firm in Central London.
