Charlie Parker

Overview

I am an Associate in Michelmores’ Business Group, advising clients on a broad range of Banking and Finance transactions.

I regularly act for institutional and alternative lenders on a range of debt transactions, with a particular focus on secured lending (including development and bridge financing) and project finance (specifically in the renewables sector). I also advise commercial borrowers on acquisition finance, term facility refinancings, and regularly advise on debt and security issues in corporate reorganisations and accelerated M&A transactions.

I joined Michelmores as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2021 and qualified in September 2023. Prior to joining Michelmores, I gained several years’ experience in the corporate department of a leading global law firm, and before entering the legal industry I was an Account Manager for a major European IT distribution company.

Outside of work, I enjoy keeping fit, whether in the gym or hiking, and I am an avid (but not talented!) chess player. I also support Brighton and Hove Albion and the Miami Dolphins as an armchair sports enthusiast.
