I’m a Recruitment Business Partner at Michelmores. My role involves recruiting for and being involved in the running of our training contracts, summer vacation scheme and other early career programmes including placement years, work experience and apprenticeships. I also focus on Inclusion & Diversity and as part of this I am helping to set up our participation in the #10000BlackInterns initiative.
I am very passionate about early careers and identifying and recruiting talented individuals who will hopefully go on to be future leaders at the Firm. I am also very keen to ensure law becomes more accessible as a profession, so in my role, and with the support of the business, we have a real focus on social mobility and ensuring there are different routes into law for anyone who is interested.
I joined Michelmores in December 2021; having previously worked in the Financial Sector in a similar early careers role. Since joining Michelmores, I am really proud of the Firm’s commitment and passion for launching more early careers programmes and making us, as a Firm, and the sector more accessible.
