Pippa Allsop is tenacious and firm, and is the Partner clients want on their side when litigation is the only option. Pippa robustly defends client’s interests and advocates for their best case

Legal 500 2026

I couldn’t be happier with both the service provided and the outcome achieved in my case. Pippa and her team made me feel they were firmly on my side and that my case was always a priority. They worked tirelessly to meet tight deadlines, and as the case became increasingly complex, Pippa and her team consistently rose to the challenge and adapted quickly. Their dedication helped achieve the right outcome {…}, and their expertise and commitment made a stressful process far easier to navigate.

Client

She is an excellent solicitor who brings a sense of realism to her clients and remains calm in a storm.

Overview

I am a Partner in the Family Team and a member of the Firm’s Private Wealth Sector.

I have worked at Michelmores since joining as a trainee in 2012.

My expertise lies in advising clients in relation to complex and high net worth matters with a focus on wealth protection in the context of a relationship breakdown. I also deal with the more intractable cases where difficulties have arisen in relation to the appropriate arrangements for children after separation.

My clients often have very complicated and/or sensitive personal and financial matters to address in the context of their family matters. I take great pride in being able to assist with navigating people through the obstacles which may arise on their path to resolution.

My primary objective in every case is to develop a bespoke strategy from the outset which is focussed on ensuring my clients’ interests are protected.

I am also a qualified Family Mediator, which provides a separate but complimentary skillset to the service I offer to my clients who are engaged in litigation and vice versa.

I am very proud to be ranked as a ‘Next Generation Partner’ by Legal 500 and in the ‘Up and Coming’ category by Chambers and Partners UK Guide 2026.

I am a member of and regional representative for Resolution Devon. I am also listed as a Leading Lawyer by Wiselaw.
