I am experienced in all forms of dispute resolution on all types of construction and engineering contracts.

I have been an Adjudicator on TeCSA’s panel for over 20 years and regularly act as an Adjudicator which helps my clients when presenting their cases.

I  have represented parties in some of the leading cases in construction law I acted for the successful claimant in Harmon CFEM v House of Commons (the leading procurement case), for Morrison Construction in the first Adjudication enforcement case (Macob), for the JV of contractors building the M6 Toll Road in a series of Adjudications, three TCC cases and one Court of Appeal (a leading case on Equivalent Project Relief in a PFI contract), Hyder on adjudication enforcement versus Carillion (leading authority on what constitutes a decision) and Interserve v Safeway (no greater liability in collateral warranties).

Other notable projects I have acted on include New Sadlers Wells Theatre, Spinnaker Tower, and the Olympic Stadium in London.

I have been ranked in Band 1 for Construction in the Midlands in Chambers for over 20 years and am in the Legal 500 Hall of Fame for the West Midlands. Chambers quotes include ” intellectually second to none” and “he demonstrates strong experience and a great client manner”.

I have also been listed as a leading practitioner in the Who’s Who Legal: Construction 2024 report, which provides in-depth analysis to the world’s elite construction lawyers and experts.
