Overview
I am a Senior Associate in the Tax, Trusts & Succession team, part of the Firm’s Private Wealth team.
Owing to my international background and third culture upbringing, I have always had a strong interest in cross-border advisory work, which subsequently became underpinned by experience in international wealth structuring and advisory work on cross-border tax, trusts and succession planning issues.
I have acted for a wide variety of clients based in the UK and overseas, including high and ultra-high net-worth individuals and families, trustees and foundations. I have worked closely with a large multi-jurisdiction single family office for a number of years on a wide range of matters, both at the organisational level and for individual family members.
I have native speaking proficiency in Italian, Spanish and French and professional proficiency in German. I endeavour to use my language skills in my practice, in particular when liaising with international clients and foreign advisers and intermediaries and handling non-translated documents and correspondence.
I trained at an international London firm before moving to a Band 1 firm with a strong international client base on qualification. I joined Michelmores in July 2026.
I am a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), having completed the STEP Diploma in Tax and Estate Planning as well as the Advanced Certificates in Cross-Border Estates and Principles of International Taxation, AML and Compliance.
Recent experience
Advising on existing onshore and offshore structures, including tax advice and restructuring
Advising on international succession and estate planning for cross-border succession issues between the UK and third countries, including the applicability of forced heirship rules
Advising on domicile and tax residence status for individuals and families under the new long-term resident rules, arrival and departure planning and the incidence of double tax treaties
Assisting with the VAT registration for a group of charities
Assisting on the redrafting of the governing documents for a group of offshore foundations and charities
