I for one was impressed with the speed that she seemed to pick up the intricacies of the Trusts […] and with her grasp of so much.

Client

Thanks for your work in getting this drafted and circulated so quickly. Reading it gives me confidence and peace…you have crafted a great document, covered everything I could think of and more.

Overview

As a Legal Director in our Tax, Trusts and Succession team, I advise a broad spectrum of clients on managing and structuring their personal affairs in a tax efficient way. My work is rooted in helping individuals and families to preserve their assets and wealth for future generations.

I have a particular focus on landed estates and rural businesses, offering specialist advice to individuals, families, and connected entities. This includes guidance on structuring ownership, preserving generational wealth, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of rural enterprises.

My approach is collaborative and tailored, recognising the unique challenges and opportunities that come with managing heritage assets and countryside interests. I work closely with wealth managers, land agents, and colleagues across Michelmores to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions.

I have extensive experience advising families with capital tax planning in relation to heritage property, including claims for Conditional Exemption, Acceptance in Lieu and other heritage property reliefs.

I joined Michelmores following working at a leading private client law firm in London. I am a full member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Outside work, I am a competitive downhill skier.  I also enjoy playing tennis regularly.
