Overview

I’m an Associate in the Family team. I trained at Michelmores and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2024.

I advise clients in connection with a range of Family Law issues including divorce, the associated financial arrangements, and disputes involving children. I advise unmarried couples in relation to cohabitation and separation and I also advise clients in connection with obtaining and defending applications for occupation orders and non-molestation orders.

My work involves advising clients pre-application to assist them in negotiating an out of court settlement and, where an agreement is not possible or where urgent court intervention is required, representing my clients in financial remedy proceedings, private children proceedings and injunction proceedings.

I work with Partners in the team on high net worth financial matters involving businesses, international elements and complex assets such as offshore trusts.

I also handle sensitive matters involving children where there are allegations of domestic abuse and other safeguarding concerns and I have experience handling cases where there is police and local authority involvement.

I am a member of Resolution and strongly believe in resolving my clients’ matters in a constructive and pragmatic way. I am also on the Devon YRes Committee.

Before joining the firm, I completed my studies at Cardiff University where I was awarded the Cecil Fifoot Prize for Tort (an academic award given by Cardiff University to the law student who achieves the highest overall mark in their year group for the Tort Law module) and the Edgar Buck Prize (an academic award given to the student who achieves the best overall performance in their year group on the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Cardiff University).

Outside of work, I enjoy training at the gym and reading.

Recent experience

Representing the wife in the case of TR v ST (Letters of Request) [2026] EWHC 1785 (Fam) where the High Court granted the wife’s application for the issue of a letter of request to the judicial authorities of a 1970 Hague Convention member country in order to obtain disclosure from offshore trustees

Representing a father in a dispute over the arrangements for his child where the mother had made many allegations of domestic abuse against him. This involved a fact finding hearing where the Court found all of the mother’s allegations to be unproved

Representing a wife in financial remedy proceedings involving issues of non-disclosure, repeated breaches of court orders and domestic abuse by the husband. This involved a final hearing where the Court agreed with the wife’s position that it was reasonable to make adverse inferences from the husband’s non-disclosure
