I am a Solicitor in the Tax, Trusts and Succession team in London, part of the Firm’s private wealth group. I joined Michelmores in June 2023 from TLT LLP where I spent almost seven years in their London international private client team. I qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in June 2020 and then went on to qualify as a Solicitor through the CILEx route in December 2021.

I have a focus on cross-jurisdiction estate planning work, including advising both non-resident individuals, trusts and companies in relation their UK tax filing and disclosure obligations. Many of my clients are also high net worth or ultra-high net worth individuals, families or businesses. I also have particular experience with assisting clients restructuring their UK real estate assets.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, reading and researching my family history.

Recent experience

Assisting with ATED debt repayment plans with HMRC, including on behalf of a BVI company in over £3m debt with HMRC. My negotiations with HMRC helped avoid the property worth over £30m being sold by public auction.

Providing comprehensive advice to clients in relation to the Register of Overseas Entities and their ongoing obligations.

Supporting with advice in relation to the tax implications of a non-domiciled married couple gifting shares to their children in their UK property whilst retaining shares themselves.

Leading on the reinstatement of a Liberian company that struck off 16 years ago, but was still holding UK property. Following the reinstatement, I provided de-enveloping advice and dealt with the tax compliance aspects.

Assisting with annual corporation tax returns, ATED returns and self assessment returns.
