I am an Associate in Michelmores’ Transactional Real Estate team based in our Exeter office.
Qualifying in 2019, I initially advised on a range of non-contentious commercial property and rural matters including acquisitions and disposals, secured lending and landlord and tenant, before transitioning into the energy sector.
I now work with developers, funders and landowners as part of the team’s energy offering, advising on the property aspects of energy transactions across a range of technologies including solar PV, wind, battery storage and EV.
I specialise in providing strategic advice on the drafting and negotiation of key documents required to bring future energy projects to fruition. I also advise on the structure of these transactions, due diligence and funding.
Acting for landowners and landed estates in respect of the grant of options and leases to developers for numerous utility scale ground mount solar sites
Undertaking due diligence for a community benefit society’s portfolio of prospective roof mount solar systems
Acting for multiple landowners in the negotiation of options and deeds of easements for cabling and other infrastructure pertaining to floating offshore wind
Advising a number of landowners on prospective battery energy storage systems
