Overview
I am an Associate in the Corporate team at Michelmores, based in the Bristol office.
I assist on a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, MBOs, joint ventures and corporate restructurings across sectors including consumer brands, energy, financial services, and technology.
I trained at Michelmores prior to qualification, having undertaken seats in Commercial Litigation, Corporate, Employment and Real Estate. Prior to this, I was a Paralegal at Osborne Clarke and studied Law and completed the LPC at the University of the West of England, Bristol, achieving first class honours and a distinction, respectively.
Recent experience
Advised Dart Marina Group, comprising of Dart Marina, Dart Marina Hotel, and the Dartmouth-Kingswear Higher Ferry, on its sale to Premier Marinas, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Wellcome Trust.
Advised Frobishers, a premium Devon-based juice and soft drinks business, on its sale to AG Barr plc, a UK-listed soft drinks group
Advised Envance Limited, a leading environmental and sustainability consultancy, on its integration into the Built Environment Division of Celnor, which aims to deliver a range of services to support construction, regeneration, utilities, infrastructure and development projects
Advised Carousel Worldwide, a leading global publisher of calendars and stationery products, on its acquisition of Avonside Publishing Limited, an established UK calendar publisher
Advised the shareholders of Jermyn Street Design, a leading B Corp certified custom uniform provider, on the management buyout of the business supported by private equity investment platform, Connection Capital
Advised Klira Ltd, a bespoke skincare brand, on a significant investment round to help accelerate its growth in the UK and internationally
Advised Fargo Systems, a developer of SaaS products assisting with planning and operations in the shipping and road transport sectors, with its private equity investment by August Equity
Advised Scholarcy Limited, an educational technology business, on its sale to Antrim-based Texthelp Ltd
