I’m an Associate in Michelmores’ Projects team. I have over 5 years’ experience advising both private and public sector clients on a range of issues affecting their infrastructure projects.

The clients I work with finance, own, operate and/or use a variety of infrastructure assets including those in the education, healthcare and waste management sectors. The contracts for infrastructure assets often run for many years and a variety of issues crop up during that time. I help my clients to navigate these issues and achieve their strategic goals by advising them on their contractual obligations and how they apply in a commercial context.

I joined Michelmores in 2017 having previously worked for an international firm in their London and Hong Kong offices.

Recent experience

Advising the project company of a leading UK infrastructure investment fund on operational matters affecting a healthcare PFI, with a particular focus on the construction of new facilities to meet the demands of their patients.

Advising the project company of an infrastructure investment fund on a social housing project in relation to resolving complex pre-disputes issues.

Advising an NHS Trust on various issues concerning the procurement strategy for a flagship redevelopment project. This involved working closely with an multi-disciplinary team at Michelmores to ensure deadlines were met and comprehensive support was provided to the client.

Negotiating variations to PFI project documents for a project company operating an educational facility.

Supporting a client in the waste management sector with its bid for the acquisition of a target company. This involved reviewing existing contracts held by the target and highlighting potential risks in those contracts so that our client could factor these in to its bid.
