I am a Senior Paralegal working in the New Homes team which is part of the Michelmores Real Estate team. I head up the New Homes team on a day to day basis and I am the principle point of contact for my clients. I started working at the firm in 2013.
During my time I have developed a wealth of knowledge surrounding the sale of new build properties and I deal with all aspects of the open market plot sales for national, regional and bespoke house builders and developers. I ensure that each sale progresses promptly to exchange and completion and maintain an excellent working relationship with my clients.
The New Homes Team handle in the region of 600 to 700 South West plots per year, varying from large mixed used developments to smaller unique sites.
Completing all plot sales in excess of 500 units on a multi-phased development that included implementing a residents management company, dealing with enquiries relating to district heating and liaising with multiple national and regional developers.
Assisting with the sale of a city estate comprising of townhouses and apartments with a focus on sustainability including provisions within the leases which enabled the landlord/management company to monitor energy consumption and take steps to reduce energy use and other adverse environmental impacts.
Acting on and progressing sales to completion on a multi-phased development which is currently on going. This development is anticipated to be in excess of 320 units.
