Overview
I am a Partner in our Corporate team and a Michelmores ‘lifer’, having trained with the firm.
I act for scale-up companies on all stages of their equity fundraising journey through to exit, and also regularly advise those who invest in them – including angel investors, venture capital funds, family offices and private equity. My clients span across all sectors, but I have a particular interest in working with consumer brands clients and am a member of the firm’s Consumer Brands sector group.
The best part of my job is building trusted long-lasting relationships with my clients and supporting ambitious entrepreneurs as they grow their business and realise their ambitions.
I also enjoy being the co-lead of MAINstream, our UKBAA registered angel network that we set up in 2019 in order to connect angel investors with scale-up companies.
I have been recognised in Legal 500 and the Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession, along with being named a ‘Next Generation Partner’ in Legal 500 2022, and ‘One to Watch’ in the UK Best Lawyers Guide for 2023.

Advising Maven on investment by British Business Bank’s South West Investment Fund in Independent Bar and Restaurant Group
Advising Mindful Chef, a B Corp healthy recipe box company, on the sale of a majority stake to Nestle, and prior to that on all of its fundraising journey, including its investment by private equity firm Piper and crowdfunding rounds on Crowdcube and Seedrs
Advising the individual and private equity shareholders of Media Business Insight on the sale to GlobalData, an AIM-listed data and analytics company
Advising DSM Venturing, the corporate venture capital arm of Royal DSM, and its co-investors on several investments, including
its investment alongside Novo Holdings into Deep Branch Biotechnology, a carbon recycling biotechnology company
its investment alongside Foresight Williams EIS Fund into AMT, a developer of post-processing machinery for 3D printed parts
its investment into Phynova, a life sciences company that develops proprietary natural healthcare products from active compounds found in plants
Advising Mobeus Equity Partners LLP on the sale of its VCT Fund Management business to Gresham House plc, the specialise alternative asset manager
Advising Pentire, the botanical non-alcoholic spirit drink brand, on several rounds of angel and venture capital fundraising, including its recent £3m raise.
