Michelmores scoops Best Legal Team for Early-Stage Deals at Angel Investing Awards

Michelmores has won in the Best Legal Team for Early-Stage Deals category at the UKBAA Angel Investment Awards 2022.

The annual awards celebrate high growth and success in the angel and early-stage investment market – recognising the fastest growing brands and acknowledging the founders, angels, crowd funders and early-stage venture capital investors behind them.

The awards ceremony took place at the Science Museum, London on Thursday 7 July 2022, and showcased the success and determination of the angel and early-stage investment community.

The award recognises Michelmores’ significant impact on the early-stage ecosystem during the past year, both in supporting scale-up companies, entrepreneurs and investors on venture capital fundraising transactions, and via it’s highly successful MAINstream and MiVentures initiatives.

MAINstream is a network for business angel investors established by Michelmores in 2019 to help accelerate the growth of angel investing, particularly in the South West in the region. It brings together experienced angel investors, start-up and scale-up businesses, with regular pitch events held throughout the year.
