Michelmores lawyers recognised in the Best Lawyers rankings 2023

Two more Partners have been added to Michelmores’ listing in Best Lawyers.

New Partner Dhana Sabanathan, who has been listed since 2022, joins Harry Trick whose new listing brings the Firm’s total to 17.

Dhana Sabanathan is a Partner in the Tax, Trusts and Succession team and joined the Firm’s private wealth group in 2023 from Winckworth Sherwood. Dhana specialises in working with high-net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices, entrepreneurs, corporates and owner-managed businesses across the US, Far East, Middle East and the UK.

Harry Trick has been included in the ‘ones to watch’ listing. A Partner in the Corporate team, Harry specialises in private company mergers and acquisitions as well as private equity/venture capital investment as part of the Firm’s MiVentures and MAINstream initiatives. Harry joined Michelmores as a trainee and is testament to the Firm’s commitment to home grown talent.

In addition, four of the Firm’s listed lawyers have achieved Lawyer of the Year status with Partners Emma Honey, Stephen Morse, Ben Sharples and Andrew Tobey each recognised.

Emma Honey is Head of the Real Estate team. She is a property specialist and has a particular interest in commercial and residential development.

Stephen Morse is a Partner in the Corporate team and specialises in mergers & acquisitions, restructurings and private equity.

Ben Sharples FRICS FAAV FCIArb is a Partner in the Agriculture team and leads the Firm’s team of Natural Capital experts.

Andrew Tobey is Head of the Employment Law and the Public Sector teams. He specialises in the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues.
