Michelmores advises Partners& on acquisition of M&DH Insurance Services

Michelmores has advised award-winning insurance advisory business Partners& on its acquisition of Bedford-based insurance broker M&DH Insurance Services Ltd, a Top 100 UK insurance broker specialising in the construction and manufacturing sectors.

The transaction represents a significant strategic acquisition for Partners& as it continues to grow its presence and capabilities across the UK insurance market, further strengthening its position in the SME sector.

Michelmores provided corporate, banking, regulatory, tax, commercial, employment and real estate legal advice to Partners& throughout the transaction, working alongside Hazlewoods LLP’s transaction services and tax teams led by James Whittaker (Partner – transaction services) and assisted by Lucy Hetherington (Associate Director – transaction services), Harriet Ellis (Associate Director – tax), Tom Verity (Partner – tax) and Bernado Almeida (Partner – tax).

The Michelmores team advising on the transaction was led by Adam Kean (Partner) and Angharad Doyle (Legal Director), supported by Ben Adams (Senior Associate), Harry Jones (Associate), Hollie Halston (Associate) and Philippa Kean (Paralegal) from the Corporate team.
