Michelmores announces new Partner and Senior Associate promotions

Michelmores has announced its latest round of promotions, with two new Partners and nine Senior Associates recognised.

Edwin Richards is promoted to Partner in the Corporate team in London. Edwin, who has over 25 years' experience in private equity and M&A and is also a Chartered Accountant, specialises in advising management teams, SMEs and mid-cap clients. With his corporate finance background, Edwin advises on mandates where there is a particularly complex financial or structural element to a deal.

James Frampton is promoted to Partner in the Tax, Trusts & Succession team. James specialises in trusts, wills and UK tax as well as advising on the protection and devolution of assets. He has extensive experience advising families, entrepreneurs and land owners on succession planning and UK tax, with a particular interest in advising US connected families in relation to their estate planning. James also acts for trustees based in the UK and offshore, advising on trust and UK tax issues. He divides his time between London and the South West, acting for clients based in the UK and internationally.

This year's Senior Associate promotions include four lawyers who have trained at the Firm and one lawyer who joined as a newly qualified solicitor – highlighting Michelmores' commitment to supporting home grown talent.
