Overview

I’m an Associate in the Transactional Real Estate team.

I have a diverse range of experience including general landlord and tenant matters, assisting in the sale and purchase of commercial property, asset management, and advising on the property aspects of corporate acquisitions.

I have a particular interest in sustainability-related property issues, advising on biodiversity net gain and energy infrastructure projects. In 2025, I spent part of the year on secondment with a leading off-site biodiversity net gain habitat provider, gaining valuable insight into the practical delivery of BNG solutions.

I joined Michelmores in September 2019 as a Trainee and qualified into the Real Estate team in 2021.

Recent experience

Natural capital

Acting for an environmental client on the real estate due diligence and pre-completion, completion and post-completion steps in relation to securing long term leases and freeholds of agricultural land nationwide for the creation and maintenance of habitat and the generation of biodiversity credits for onward sale to third party developers

Energy

Acting for a solar developer on rooftop and ground-mounted solar schemes across various UK properties, including advising on the rollout of rooftop infrastructure across well-known supermarket sites

Education

Advising universities and ecclesiastical bodies on a range of property matters, including estate management, acquisitions and disposals, and development projects, often involving complex title and governance considerations
