The Institute combines a nine-storey and a seven-storey building, which, amongst other elements, comprise cell and molecular research laboratories, staff and research offices, meeting rooms and a 90-seat seminar room.

The winners were announced at an Awards Dinner on Thursday 15 June at the University of Exeter, hosted by comedian and actor Marcus Brigstocke.
