The Michelmores Technology and Innovation team hosted SETsquared’s exclusive Pitch Practice session at the Firm’s Exeter office, showcasing some of the most promising tech start-up businesses in the South of England.
The SETsquared Partnership is the leading enterprise collaboration between the universities of Exeter, Bristol, Bath, Southampton and Surrey.
The Pitch Practice session on 18 October saw six start-up businesses pitch their ideas to a select audience of investors and mentors, before receiving feedback and guidance. The session will help hone the entrepreneurs’ skills, as they get ready to pitch to over 150 investors, at this year’s Accelerating Growth Investment Showcase, held in London in December.
Those pitching on the day included tech start-up businesses across a range of industries, such as cyber security, vertical farming and clean energy solutions.
