As rising energy costs continue to hit the headlines, on Tuesday 21 June, the team at Michelmores looked at progress and policy changes affecting energy and heating in the Real Estate sector, covering both commercial and residential property users and embracing new-build and retrofit.
Joined by guest speaker Neil Sawers from Grant UK, the team considered alternative and sustainable energy and heating sources such as solar, ground- and air-source heat pumps and hydrogen boilers, and the ways in which these might be provided, as technology develops to support the ‘race to net zero’, against a backdrop of changes in grants and subsidies from the Government.
