Michelmores’ Banking, Restructuring & Insolvency team has successfully advised its client, Rotsvast Services B.V., a company incorporated in the Netherlands, on its acquisition of the business and assets of Lumi Therapy Ltd, a leading ice baths and cold water therapy business.
The acquisition by Rotsvast will see all jobs of the business preserved, and was completed via a pre-pack, shortly after the appointment of Nedim Ailyan and Paul Atkinson of FRP Advisory as joint administrators of Lumi.
The Michelmores deal team was led by Partner Sacha Pickering, who was supported by Associate Thomas Jenkins and Trainee Solicitor Olivia Lee, with Partner David Thompson assisting on the intellectual property aspects of the transaction.
