Michelmores has strengthened its Real Estate leadership team with the appointment of Chris Hoar who joins as a Partner and Head of Construction and Engineering.
Chris joins the Firm from Foot Anstey LLP and brings over two decades of experience with him. Chris has extensive expertise in all types of construction work across the supply chain and has advised on a number of major projects both nationally and internationally during the course of his career. In addition to his transactional work, he has a very strong disputes practice with extensive experience in big-ticket litigation, arbitration, adjudication and alternative dispute resolution
Chris trained and worked at Allen & Overy LLP in London and Hong Kong prior to spending 11 years at niche construction and engineering firm Shadbolt & Co where he was a partner and latterly Head of Contentious Construction. He moved to the South West in 2009 joining Foot Anstey LLP.
