Overview

I’m a Managing Associate in Michelmores’ Contentious Agriculture team.

I have a breadth of litigation experience, including property disputes, agricultural and general landlord and tenant disputes, professional negligence, partnership, commercial/contract disputes (in an agricultural context), milk contract disputes, right of way disputes, manorial rights, compulsory purchase, boundary disputes, proprietary estoppel and other “non-contentious” drafting/advisory work.

I advise and work closely with a wide range of clients across the country, including landed estates, landlords/tenants, farmers, landowners, high net worth individuals, partnerships and companies. I thrive on developing and maintaining relationships with both existing and new clients and very much enjoy getting involved in the highly interesting and innovative work taking place in the industry today.

As well as acting on complex contentious agricultural matters, I am also a member of the Firm’s Sustainable Agriculture practice. I have previous experience of advising on the regulatory sphere surrounding the use of insects as food and feed, and also on seagrass restoration and seaweed farming. I also have a further keen interest in topics such as gene-editing, vertical farming and agri-tech.

I’ve been a part of the Agricultural Litigation team at Michelmores since qualifying with the Firm in 2018.

I am a member of the Agricultural Law Association and the Property Litigation Association, and have presented on agricultural and natural capital issues.
