Overview
I joined Michelmores in 2014, progressing from various business and professional support roles, to a project-focused role when the firm formalised its relationship with Planet Mark in 2022. This shift sparked a firm-wide programme of environmental improvements – work that I have helped to shape ever since.
As Sustainability Manager, I bring data and delivery together, coordinating actions across teams to implement the Net Zero Transition Plan, track progress against our short-, medium- and long-term targets, and turn risks into practical recommendations. I oversee environmental data collection and assurance (including carbon accounting, SECR and ESOS) and ensure that our Environmental Management System aligns with ISO 14001 requirements.
I work closely with leadership and professional support teams to embed sustainable practices into day-to-day operations – helping colleagues connect everyday decisions (like travel, procurement and office energy use) to our climate goals.
Recent experience
ISO 14001: implemented the Firm’s Environmental Management System, achieving certification against ISO 14001 in September 2025
Contributed to the process of setting the firm’s net-zero targets, and validation of the same by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in June 2025, integrating targets into reporting and engagement materials
Coordinated full scope environmental data reporting with Planet Mark and broader environmental data governance for 2024/25 financial year
Assisted with the production of Michelmores’ first Impact Report (2025)
Led delivery of firm-wide environmental training modules, ensuring all colleagues gained a clear understanding of key sustainability concepts, associated risks, and opportunities for positive impact
