Omar is an Associate in the Employment team. He provides contentious and non-contentious employment advice on a range of issues to both private and commercial entities.
He has particular experience in providing practical commercial advice to NHS Foundation Trusts on a wealth of day-to-day HR issues, including disciplinary and grievance processes, investigations, Data Subject Access Requests and severance negotiations.
In the contentious sphere, Omar has wide-ranging experience in dealing with Employment Tribunal litigation, representing both national retail sector clients and NHS bodies in defending claims for discrimination, unfair dismissal (including constructive dismissal) and whistleblowing.
Omar also regularly drafts employment contracts, consultancy and service agreements, policies and settlement agreements.
In his spare time, Omar enjoys running, travelling and socialising with friends and family.
Omar is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association (UK).
