Michelmores shortlisted for two categories in Legal 500 Awards

Michelmores has been shortlisted for two categories in the annual Legal 500 Awards 2019.

Andrew Oldland QC, the Firm's Senior Partner, has been shortlisted in the category of 'Crime, fraud and licensing - individual'. As Head of both the Financial Services and Regulatory team, Andrew has extensive experience in financial regulation and financial crime, including anti-corruption, anti-money laundering and offences under the Companies Acts.

Partner James Radcliffe, who is based in Michelmores' Bristol office, has been shortlisted in the 'Private client' category. He advises both UK and international clients on wills, trusts and other structures intended to preserve assets.  He also advises on the preparation of lasting powers of attorney and acts for the trustees of onshore and offshore trusts, providing UK tax and trust advice.

The Legal 500 Awards recognise work undertaken by individuals, in-house counsel and private practice teams over a 12-month period and the winners are selected based on the research obtained through the Legal 500 directory submission process.

Louise Edwards, Michelmores' Marketing Director, commented:

'To be recognised in this year's Legal 500 Awards is a great achievement for both Andrew and James and is a testament to their continued commitment to excellence in their fields. We look forward to the winners being announced in February.'

The Legal 500 directory ranks law firms globally. Michelmores is named as a top-tier firm in the United Kingdom in 11 practice areas and has over 15 lawyers named as 'Leading Individuals' or 'Next Generation Lawyers'.
