Michelmores awards latest Land Law prize to University of Exeter students

Michelmores is delighted to have awarded Elsa Benoit and Beth Enos, two students at the University of Exeter, its 2018 Land Law prize. Beth and Elsa shared the accolade of delivering the highest Land Law results on part of their degree course.

The Firm has been awarding the prize to the student or students with the best performance on the Land Law course at the University of Exeter for over 20 years.

Beth and Elsa were presented with a certificate and cheque for their achievement at a celebratory lunch at Michelmores’ Exeter office – joined by Partner Joanna Damerell and Trainee Solicitor Helen Bray.

Commenting on winning the prize, Beth said:

“I was delighted to be awarded the Land Law Prize. I was lucky to have Christina Walton as my Land Law lecturer, who made the module both understandable and interesting. I would like to thank Michelmores for the prize, as well as the lunch with Joanna and Helen. The opportunity to talk to lawyers at Michelmores gave me a true insight into the Firm’s work and culture, and has encouraged me to reflect upon my future career.”

Elsa commented:

“I was incredibly happy and proud to win the Michelmores Land Law Prize. I am very thankful to Michelmores for this great honour. I was very lucky to have Christina Walton as my Land Law teacher and would like to thank her for her invaluable help and support during the year.”
