Michelmores is pleased to announce the promotion of two new Partners, Gemma Shepherd and Pippa Allsop. These promotions mark a significant milestone for the Firm, as the proportion of female partners rises to 51%, demonstrating Michelmores’ ongoing commitment to gender parity.
Gemma Shepherd, who joined Michelmores in 2019, is a trusted expert in Tax, Trusts & Succession law. She advises individuals, families, business owners, and trustees on a variety of matters, including lifetime succession planning, wills, powers of attorney, and complex estate administration. Gemma is particularly passionate about supporting older and vulnerable clients, with extensive experience handling complex capacity issues. She also serves as the South West Regional Director of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers and Vice Chair of STEP West of England.
Pippa Allsop, who has been with the Firm since 2012, is a seasoned member of the Family team. Pippa’s expertise lies in guiding clients through financially and emotionally complex matters following relationship breakdowns. As a qualified Family Mediator, she supports high-net-worth individuals in reaching resolutions outside of court. Pippa is also the regional liaison for Devon Resolution.
