Michelmores advises on Harrier Group's acquisition of Halstan

Michelmores has advised Harrier Group on its acquisition of Halstan’s print interests in the UK and Germany.

The transaction marks a significant step in Harrier’s continued growth and expansion, broadening its capabilities within specialist publishing and strengthening its European footprint.

Harrier Group, part of the District Photo group of companies, has acquired all of Halstan’s print interests, with Halstan continuing to operate under its long-established brand and experienced team.

Michelmores provided corporate and specialist legal advice throughout the transaction. The core team was led by Legal Director Chris Cook, and supported by Associate Shafi Choudhury and Trainee Solicitor Ellis Arnold. Specialist support was provided by Partners Cathy Bryant, Rachael Lloyd, Tom Torkar, Stephen Newson and David Thompson, together with Senior Associate Henry Cross.

The transaction also included a cross-border element, with lawyers from Heuking advising on the acquisition of the German entity. The Heuking team was led by Dr Alexander Schott and included Peter Ladwig and Marco Bahmann.
