Michelmores has advised global managed IT services provider Kubus on its acquisition of Ammcom Limited, a specialist in network cabling and infrastructure solutions.
The transaction marks a further step in Kubus’ growth strategy and follows a period of sustained expansion for the business, supported by investment from BGF. The acquisition of Ammcom strengthens Kubus’ technical capabilities, particularly in fibre network cabling and infrastructure services, and enhances its ability to deliver end-to-end IT infrastructure solutions backed by BGF.
The deal also builds on an existing relationship between Kubus and Ammcom, developed through many years of collaboration.
Michelmores advised Kubus on all legal aspects of the transaction. The team was led by Corporate Partner Adam Kean, with support from Associates Harry Jones and Dan O’Sullivan, and Managing Associate Anthony Reeves, all from the Firm’s Corporate team, with Senior Associate Harry Allen (Real Estate), Senior Associate Matthew Warren (Employment), and Partner Noel Beale (Commercial).
This latest transaction follows Michelmores’ recent work advising Kubus on another acquisition in May of this year, reflecting the Firm’s ongoing support of Kubus’ strategic growth plans.
Jeremy Keefe, CEO of Kubus, said:
“Ammcom has built a strong reputation for excellence in fibre network cabling and infrastructure services. This acquisition strengthens our ability to deliver the end-to-end infrastructure capabilities our customers require.”
Adam Kean, Partner at Michelmores, commented:
“We are pleased to have supported Kubus on this acquisition, which represents another important milestone in its continued growth. This transaction further strengthens Kubus’ service offering and market position, and demonstrates the pace of its expansion strategy.”
