Our placement years are designed for you to experience first-hand what it is like to work in a law firm, build your knowledge and skills and have the opportunity to complete real life legal work whilst gaining critical skills which you will use throughout your future career.
For 9-12 months you’ll work in one of our teams, starting in an admin role and progressing throughout the year towards an admin/paralegal role. You’ll have direct supervision, learning and development sessions, network with colleagues from around the business and have the opportunity to become involved in our ESG work if you are interested.
The internship will be non-rotational, affording students the opportunity to immerse themselves in one area of the business and develop high quality legal skills and knowledge. You’ll have plenty of support from senior lawyers within your team and also a buddy who is one of our current trainees there to help you on a day-to-day basis.
For your placement you will be based in either our Bristol or Exeter offices and you’ll be able to select which office and outline your preference of which team you would like to be in
