The Farmer’s Arms wins Innovative Property Investment Project of the Year at the 2019 Michelmores Property Awards

The winners of the 17th annual Property Awards have been revealed. Each year, the Awards celebrate and showcase some of the best new projects across the South West and this year was no exception.

Congratulations to The Farmer’s Arms – winner of the category Innovative Property Investment Project of the Year.

Michael and Xochi Birch brought the original Grade II listed cob and thatched building, located in Woolsery, with the aim of injecting new life into the tired and derelict listed buildings with historical significance in the village. The newly opened pub has strong sustainable credentials and is boosting the local economy.

The winners were announced at the Awards Dinner on Thursday 13 June at Sandy Park, hosted by comedian, actor and writer Sally Phillips.
