Being Brunel wins Leisure & Tourism Project of the Year at the 2019 Michelmores Property Awards

The winners of the 17th annual Property Awards have been revealed. Each year, the Awards celebrate and showcase some of the best new projects across the South West and this year was no exception.

Congratulations to Being Brunel – winner of the category Leisure & Tourism Project of the Year.

This project saw the restoration of Brunel’s Drawing Office, a Listed Grade II building, and the partly derelict 20th Century dockside buildings which run alongside Brunel’s SS Great Britain. The buildings have been transformed into a new visitor experience and museum.

The winners were announced at the Awards Dinner on Thursday 13 June at Sandy Park, hosted by comedian, actor and writer Sally Phillips.
