Agricultural Lore – Autumn 2022 Edition

This Autumn has brought with it significant financial constraints as the UK faces the cost of covid as well as the war in Ukraine. With a review of new environmental schemes underway by the new administration, it remains to be seen how the Government will balance the challenges of food security and protection of the environment.

With so many cases and other developments affecting rural businesses, this is a bumper edition of Agricultural Lore with articles on topics ranging from proposals to reform the Arbitration Act 1996 to a new case on notices to quit and from a Habitats directive which survives Brexit to proprietary estoppel. We also include a spotlight on Welsh reforms to both agriculture and residential tenancies.
