I am the Director of Legal Operations. I joined Michelmores in 2023.
Following several years of client management experience in advertising and consultancy, I moved into senior management in the regulated professional services sector. This included three years in a senior management role at the law firm Withers and two decades in Chief Operating Officer roles at the accountancy firm, Saffery Champness, and the intellectual property firm, J A Kemp.
I have an MBA from Warwick Business School and a Post-graduate Certificate in Legal Technology from the University of Law.
As Director of Legal Operations, I have oversight of the delivery of services to the Firm’s clients. I lead, facilitate and support major change projects. Many of these are focused on process improvements enabled by technology and requiring the engagement of multiple stakeholders.
I work closely with the Heads of the Legal Groups and the Team Leaders on financial and people management. I maximise synergies across practice areas to the benefit of the Firm’s clients and the business as a whole.
I participate in regular social tennis sessions and have spent many years supporting my three sons’ activities on the football, cricket and, in particular, rugby pitch. I also enjoy gardening and long walks in the countryside.
