Overview
I am an Associate in the Agriculture Team, based in the Bristol office.
I joined Michelmores in August 2022 and completed my Training Contract with the firm. Since qualifying in September 2024, I have acted on a broad range of agricultural litigation and non-contentious matters for rural and landed estate clients based in England and Wales.
My litigation practice involves a variety of disputes, including partnership, proprietary estoppel, property and general landlord and tenancy disputes.
I have experience on a wide variety of transactional and non-contentious matters including drafting an array of bespoke tenancy restructuring documents, licences and farm business/ contract farming agreements. I also assist with partnership restructuring and drafting bespoke partnership deeds, working closely with colleagues in our Tax, Trusts and Succession and Transactional Real Estate teams.
I have recently contributed to articles targeted to landed estates and landlords with residential property portfolios.
Recent experience
Acting for a number of clients with large rural estates on complex tenancy restructuring projects often working to a tight deadline.
Assisting farming families to document partnership agreements for their rural businesses.
Acting for land owning clients on obtaining possession of residential property.
Assisting on a High Court case, where we acted for an executor of her late mother’s estate defending proprietary estoppel and probate claims brought against the estate.
