High profile litigator joins Michelmores
Commercial litigator Garbhan Shanks has joined Michelmores from Addleshaw Goddard. He becomes a partner at the firm’s London office bringing Michelmores' total partnership to 58.
37 year-old Garbhan specializes in contentious insurance and reinsurance, and also has extensive experience in a wide range of commercial disputes both in Court and arbitration proceedings. He represents policyholders and (re)insurers in coverage disputes and has particular experience in the financial services, pharmaceutical, property, trade and transport, aviation, energy, retail and manufacturing sectors.
Amongst others, he has acted for a FTSE 100 pharmaceutical company, various domestic and international banks, Walters Power International, Associated Group, Plurimi Capital, Moneysupermarket.com, Aviva Canada Inc., Wasa, Aioi Dowa Insurance Co Ltd and a wide range of very high net worth private clients, such as Boris Berezovsky.
