Over 100 Human Resources professionals attended an employment conference organised by leading law firm Michelmores LLP at Sandy Park on Thursday 7th November.
Michelmores’ employment team has just been recognised by the legal bible Chambers & Partners as in the top tier of South West firms providing employment law advice.
Topics under discussion included the rigours of recruitment, TUPE update, and the new law on pre-termination negotiations, as well as a whistle-stop tour of every significant change in employment law over the last year.
The Conference was chaired by Michelmores’ Partner and Head of the Employment Team, Andrew Tobey, who said: “We are delighted with such a substantial turnout and the fact that many of the delegates are returning year on year clearly indicates the value they place on this important and authoritative event.”
In addition to Andrew Tobey, speakers included Michelmores’ Partner Tim Davies, Associate James Baker and solicitors Tom Stenner-Evans and Rachael Lloyd.
