Michelmores lawyer Nerys Thomas, a Senior Associate in the Firm’s Tax, Trusts & Succession team, has won Gold at the Citywealth Future Leaders Awards 2023.
The Citywealth Future Leader Awards are held annually, recognising young professionals in the wealth sector and highlighting the leaders under forty of today and tomorrow. The philosophy of the Awards is to support future leaders who excel at work, but who also make an important contribution to society.
Nerys Thomas has been awarded the Gold due to her strengths in advising on a wide range of private client matters including Wills, trusts, lifetime planning and estate administration. Nerys also has experience of advising charities on charity creation, registration and governance. Her clients include business owners, farming families and, more increasingly, those with assets overseas.
The submission process involved compiling a written entry which outlined Nerys’ career history, achievements, client service ethos, and leadership and vision. The winners were chosen based on a combination of public voting and the decisions of a panel of industry judges.
The Awards ceremony, which marks Citywealth’s ninth-year awards programme honouring the emerging talent in the wealth management sector, was held on 14 November 2023 in London.
